Prize Hub respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you when you use the Prize Hub mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Prize Hub, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including: • Name or username • Email address • Profile photo or avatar preferences • Country and city • Account and notification preferences • Giveaway submissions • Prize information that you voluntarily add • Messages sent through our contact or support forms • Business profile and giveaway information submitted by business users Prize Hub also stores login and activity timestamps and app interactions needed to provide account features, lists, statistics and badges. Device model or manufacturer, operating-system name and version, and app version are collected only when a user voluntarily submits an issue report. Prize Hub does not currently collect APNs or FCM push-notification tokens and does not currently use a crash-reporting SDK. Prize Hub does not currently collect payment-card details inside the app.
How We Use Your Information
We may use your information to: • Create and manage your account • Display and update your profile • Provide access to giveaways and app features • Save your favorites, entered giveaways and skipped giveaways • Calculate activity statistics, progress and badges • Process user and business giveaway submissions • Provide in-app notifications and notification preferences • Respond to questions and support requests • Detect misuse, fraud or security issues • Improve the performance and usability of the app • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations We will not sell your personal information.
Account Information
Your account information is used to identify your account and provide personalized app features. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for ensuring that the information associated with your account is accurate. You can update eligible profile information through the app settings. Personal users can permanently delete their account in the app by going to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and following the confirmation steps. Business users can delete their account through Business Settings → Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes the login account and applicable personal profile, activity and user-owned file data through the production deletion flow. When a business account is deleted, legitimate public or historical business and giveaway records may remain. Those retained records are detached from the deleted user, and private account, ownership and contact information is removed. Certain information may also be retained where legally required.
Business Accounts
If you create a business account, we may collect and process additional information related to your business, including: • Business name • Business description and category • Business email address, phone number and street address • Website • City and country • Social-media links • Business logo and cover image • Verification status • Ownership and account information • Giveaway submissions and related content This information is used to: • Create and manage your business profile • Review and publish giveaway submissions • Contact you regarding your account or submissions • Provide business features and account statistics • Improve the quality, security and reliability of the platform Business users are responsible for ensuring that the information they submit is accurate, complete and kept up to date. Public business information may include the business name, description, website, logo or cover image, city, country, social-media links and verification status. Private business contact and account information, including email address, phone number, street address and ownership information, is not publicly displayed.
Favorites & Activity
Prize Hub may store information about giveaways that you: • Add to Favorites • Mark as Entered • Mark as Skipped • Submit to the platform • Record as a prize won This information is used to display your private lists, statistics, progress and badges. Prize Hub does not currently provide functioning cross-user public personal profiles or make this personal activity visible to other members.
Cookies, Local Storage & Tracking
The public Prize Hub website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking and does not require a login or browser local storage. The Prize Hub mobile app stores Supabase authentication and session information locally so that users can remain signed in. It also stores app preferences, such as filters and account-scoped feature state, locally on the user’s device. At launch, Prize Hub does not use an analytics SDK or provider, crash-reporting SDK or provider, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, cross-app tracking or an advertising identifier. The app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. Core app activity is stored to provide app functionality, lists and account statistics, not for third-party advertising or tracking.
Third-Party Services
Prize Hub may rely on third-party providers to operate certain features. These may include: • Supabase for authentication, database and file-storage services • Email delivery used for Supabase authentication emails • Apple for iOS and App Store distribution and applicable native platform functionality • Instagram, external organizers and other external services when users open giveaway posts, profiles or links These providers may process limited information according to their own privacy policies and service terms. Opening an Instagram giveaway or another external link takes you outside Prize Hub. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites, social-media platforms or giveaway organizers. Prize Hub does not have an integrated payment processor at launch and does not collect card or payment details inside the app. Where applicable, a business request may be provided with an external payment link, which is handled outside the Prize Hub app under the relevant provider’s terms and privacy policy.
Notifications
Prize Hub notifications are currently in-app notifications stored and retrieved through Supabase. Prize Hub does not currently collect APNs or FCM push-notification tokens.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. These measures may include: • Secure authentication • Encrypted network connections • Restricted database access • Row-level access policies • Role-based permissions • Secure file-storage rules • Monitoring and technical logging No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use a strong password and avoid sharing account credentials.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: • Request access to personal information held about you • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information • Request deletion of eligible personal information • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent • Object to or restrict certain processing • Request a portable copy of eligible information • Update your notification and privacy preferences • Submit a privacy-related complaint or question Some requests may require identity verification. Certain information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes. Data Retention
Active account data is retained as needed to provide the Prize Hub service and account features. When a personal account is deleted, applicable login, profile, activity data and user-owned files are removed through the production deletion flow. When a business account is deleted, legitimate public or historical business and giveaway records may remain, while ownership and private personal or contact information is removed or detached from those records. Some technical logs or backups maintained by service providers may remain for the provider’s applicable retention period and may not disappear immediately. Information may also be retained where legally required.
Children’s Privacy
Prize Hub does not currently collect a user’s date of birth and does not operate an in-app age-verification gate. Giveaway organizers may apply their own eligibility and age requirements to individual giveaways. Users should review the organizer’s rules before entering. A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information to Prize Hub may contact us using the details below.
Privacy Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, our services, legal requirements or data practices change. When material changes are made, we may notify users through the application, by email or through another appropriate method. The date displayed at the bottom of this page indicates when the policy was last updated. Continued use of Prize Hub after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgement of the updated policy, where permitted by law.
